Copyright re­cords state Tit­tle was liv­ing in Sul­phur Springs, Tex­as, in 1908. Giv­en this lo­ca­tion, it seems like­ly he is Ro­bert Lee Tit­tle (1874–1949), bur­ied in Plea­sant Grove Ce­me­te­ry North, about five miles north­west of Sulp­hur Springs.
