Introduction

Born: May 14, 1877, Cam­pig­lia dei Be­ri­ci, Vi­cen­za, Ita­ly (near Pa­dua).

Died: Sep­tem­ber 10, 1948, Mont­ré­al, Ca­na­da. That day he had preached a ser­mon ti­tled, Pre­cious in the Sight of the Lord Is the Death of His Saints. He con­clud­ed by say­ing, I feel as if I have wings ready to fly. That night, he flew.

Buried: Ni­aga­ra Falls Me­mo­ri­al Park, Lew­is­ton, New York.

Biography

Tosetto was the hus­band of Lou­ise Iso­la.

He emi­grat­ed from It­aly to Am­eri­ca in 1901. He lived in Chi­ca­go, Il­li­nois (1904–05), then pa­stored in Ni­aga­ra Falls, New York (1916–48).

In 1914, To­set­to, Mi­chele Pal­ma and Lui­gi Ter­ra­gno­li pub­lished the first hym­nal of the Ita­li­an-Am­eri­can Pen­te­cost­al church.
