The on­ly known pub­li­ca­tion of the tune Calvary was in Ca­na­da, so we spe­cu­late this com­pos­er might be the Tho­mas Tur­vey who was or­gan­ist and choir di­rect­or of Me­tro­po­li­tan Unit­ed Church, To­ron­to, Ca­na­da, 1872–73.
