Died: March 30, 1974, Grand Ra­pids, Mi­chi­gan.

Buried: Cha­pel Hill Me­mo­ri­al Gar­dens, Cas­cade Town­ship, Michigan.

Biography

John was the hus­band of Cor­ne­lia Fe­rin­ga.

He emi­grat­ed to Am­eri­ca in 1912.

From 1951–62, he owned the Ster­ling Sponge and Cha­mois Com­pa­ny in Grand Ra­pids, Mi­chi­gan.

He played the or­gan at sev­er­al Christ­ian Re­formed church­es, in­clud­ing the Bur­ton Heights Christ­ian Re­formed Church in Grand Ra­pids (1931–42).
