Frederick married twice: to Henriette Raux (June 20, 1813, St. Martin in the Fields, Westminster, Middlesex), and Cordelia Treluddra (January 27, 1823, Hackney, Middlesex).
Born to an Italian family in France, he attended the Paris Conservatory, and studied composition in London.
He directed and composed for the ballet orchestra at the King’s Theater, and joined the Royal Society of Musicians of Great Britain in 1810.
He retired to Exeter in 1858.
