Biography

Waghorne was the son of Archibald Waghorne and Jeanan Dow.

He was a fellow of the American Guild of Organists, living in Flint, Michigan, around 1915. Copyright records show him in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1920.

The 1934 yearbook of Texas Tech University, Volume 9, page 67, states Waghorne was head of the Music Department. The 1935 census lists him and his wife Ada Hanson Waghorne living in both Lansing, Michigan, and Houston and San Antonio, Texas.
