Waghorne was a fellow of the American Guild of Organists, living in Flint, Michigan, around 1915. Copyright records show him in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1920. The 1934 yearbook of Texas Tech University, Volume 9, page 67, states Waghorne was head of the Music Department.
