Biography

Walker gra­du­at­ed from Tri­ni­ty Col­lege, Dub­lin, Ire­land, in 1790, and was elect­ed a Fellow on tak­ing Holy Or­ders in 1791.

Seceding from the Church of Eng­land, he re­signed his Fel­low­ship in 1804 and found­ed the Walk­er­ite sect. He es­tab­lished a cha­pel at Staf­ford Street (Dub­lin?) and The Church of God. He moved to Lon­don in 1819, but lat­er returned to Dub­lin.
