Biography

Mary was the daugh­ter of John Deck, sis­ter of hym­nist James Deck, and wife of Dr. Edward Walker, sometime Rector of Cheltenham, England (mar­ried 1848).

Several of her hymns ap­peared as leaflets, others in her husband’s Psalms and Hymns for Public and Social Worship, 1855.
