Biography

Robert was the son of Will­iam Hen­ry Wash­burne and Bet­sy Swart­wort.

He was edu­cat­ed at Un­ion Col­lege (1889) and Bos­ton Uni­ver­si­ty (STB 1892).

At one time he lived in Win­oo­sky, Ver­mont. He served as pas­tor of the First Unit­ed Me­tho­dist Church, Will­iams­town, Mas­sa­chu­setts, 1920–23.
