Biography

George was the son of Ol­iv­er B. Wells and Rox­anne Clark, and hus­band of El­ve­nah Coo­per Ra­ymond (mar­ried 1844). Note: Find­a­grave gives his name as George Chaun­cy Wells.

He was a min­is­ter in the Troy, New York, Con­fer­ence of the Me­tho­dist Epis­co­pal Church.
