Biography

Ada was the daugh­ter of Ro­bert Fitz­ger­ald, and wife of Mark (or Rich­ard, sourc­es va­ry) Whid­ding­ton. Her son Rich­ard lat­er be­came Ca­ven­dish Pro­fess­or of Phy­sics at Cam­bridge Uni­ver­si­ty.

Ada is thought to have been as­so­ci­at­ed with the Kes­wick Con­ven­tion.
