Died: Petershagen, Germany, apparently before 1691.
Wiesenmeyer, a native of Helmstädt (Helmstedt?), was from 1637–44, and probably somewhat longer, one of the masters in the Greyfriars Gymnasium at Berlin.
He helped prepare the two hymn-books which his colleague at Berlin, Johann Crüger, issued in 1640 and 1653. To these he contributed a few recasts of earlier hymns.
