Biography

The in­tro­duc­tion to Will­iams’ Christ­mas Min­strel­sy in­di­cates he was liv­ing in Midd­leham, York­shire, in De­cemb­er 1864. The book al­so had a long de­di­ca­tion by Will­iams to the Earl of Shaftes­bu­ry.
