Died: June 17, 1941, at her home, prob­ab­ly in or near Phi­la­del­phia, Penn­syl­van­ia.

Buried: Hill­side Ce­me­te­ry, Phi­la­del­phia, Penn­syl­van­ia.

Biography

Agnes was the daugh­ter of Is­aac Wor­rall, wife of Clare Wool­ston, and great-grand­daugh­ter of Bil­ly Hib­bard, one of the first Me­tho­dist min­is­ters in Am­er­i­c­a.

Known as Mo­ther Wool­ston, she taught in the Sun­day school of the East Bap­tist Church in Phi­la­del­phia, for 64 years, and found­ed the church’s Mis­sion­ary Society in 1877. She al­so taught pi­ano and La­tin to child­ren of the church and com­mu­ni­ty.

Agnes was liv­ing in Mont­go­me­ry Coun­ty, Penn­syl­van­ia, in 1930.
