Biography

Eugene was the son of James Lou­is Wright and Ida Es­tes, and hus­band of No­ra Eli­za­beth Crump Gold­en.

He taught sing­ing schools for a de­cade, and was a staff writ­er for the Stamps-Bax­ter Mu­sic Com­pa­ny. He wrote ov­er 200 hymns and Gos­pel songs.
