I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

Fount of everlasting love!
Rich Thy streams of mercy are,
Flowing purely from above,
Beauty marks their course afar.
Lo! Thy church, Thy garden, now
Blooms beneath the heavenly shower
Sinners feel, and melt, and bow:
Mild, yet mighty, is Thy power.
God of grace, before Thy throne
Here our warmest thanks we bring;
Thine the glory, Thine alone;
Loudest praise to Thee we bring.
Hear, O hear our grateful song;
Let Thy Spirit still descend;
Roll the tide of grace along,
Widening, deepening to the end.
