“If you love Me, I now say,
All My teach­ing you’ll obey.
I will to My Fa­ther pray,
And He’ll send His Spir­it to stay.

“Spirit of truth and Coun­sel­or,
Unknown by the world this hour;
But you know His pre­sence here,
With you, in you, al­ways near.

“Orphans you will ne­ver be.
Though the world will not see Me,
You will see, I’ll come to you;
Since I live, you will live too.

“You’re in Me and I’m in you;
I am in My Fa­ther too.
If you My com­mands ob­ey,
You’ll show love for Me this way.

“If you love Me, you’ll be loved
By my Fa­ther God above.
I My­self will love you too,
And will show My­self to you.

Peace I leave with you this day,
Not as in the world’s own way.
Let your hearts not feel dis­may;
Do not fear; My peace will stay.
