With heart and voice, in holy ex­ul­ta­tion,
Our sac­ri­fice of praise to God we bring;
And of­fer thus, in hum­ble ado­ra­tion,
Our thanks to Him who gave us pow­er to sing.

To Thee, O Christ, we grate­ful hom­age ren­der,
With souls up­borne on wings of sac­red song;
For Thy great love to us, so kind and ten­der,
Our nob­lest, sweet­est strains we would pro­long.

O Ho­ly Spi­rit, help our weak en­dea­vor;
Inspire our souls to wor­ship and re­joice;
To Fa­ther, Son and Thee, both now and ev­er,
Be high­est praise from ev­ery heart and voice!
