Jesus said of lit­tle child­ren,
Suffer them to come to Me,
For to such My heav­en­ly king­dom
Shall a home of wel­come be.
I love Him, He loves me,
And His child I want to be,
For He said the lit­tle child­ren,
And I know that He means me.

When I try to be like Je­sus—
Patient, gen­tle, meek and mild,
Then it is He smiles and loves me,
Then He owns me as His child.

Every day, as I grow old­er,
More I’ll try to do His will,
