Content an in­fant shape to wear,

O Babe di­vine, be­fore Thy face
Be mine to bow the thank­ful knee,

Become a child my­self in Thee!

One on­ly God, the Fa­ther, Son,

The ev­er­last­ing Three in One,
Creator, Sav­ior, Com­fort­er.
