Lyrics

Turn not away from the heav’nly word,
Spurn not the message your ears have heard,
But yield your heart to the Savior’s care,
And in His service and His glory share.

Refrain

Long He has waited, long He has striven,
Time after time this message He’s given;
Hear now and heed it with heart bowed down,
And o’er the cross see the golden crown.

Turn not away from the gentle voice,
Hear ye His call, in His love rejoice.
Happy are all who His call obey,
Blessèd the feet who walk His holy way.
