Welcome the bright mil­len­ni­al day
When for­mer things are passed away,
When earth in right­eous­ness re­newed,
Blooms as at the be­gin­ning good!
Wine from the mount­ain tops dis­tills,
And mil­ky cur­rents from the hills,
Rivers of liv­ing wa­ter rise,
Pure as their Fount­ain in the skies.

Forth is­su­ing from Je­ho­vah’s throne
Sent by the Fa­ther and the Son,
The Ho­ly Ghost His full­ness pours
In glo­ri­ous, ev­er­last­ing show­ers;
The King of saints re­sides be­low,
His Spir­it doth our vale o’er­flow,
Brings back the gar­den of the Lord,
And shows us pa­ra­dise re­stored.
