Died: January 21, 1932, at the County Farm (near San Rafael), California.
Barker became a school teacher when Gospel songs were becoming popular in evangelistic services in the 19th Century, and wrote several songs.
After marrying a Mr. Barker, she and her husband moved to Montana with the pioneers.
In 1888, they moved to San Rafael, California, where she lived the rest of her life.
