Biography

Bellerby spent most of his ear­ly years at Sel­by, York­shire.

Trained at York Min­ster by Will­iam Monk, he played the or­an at Sel­by Ab­bey (1878–81); Mar­gate Par­ish Church, Kent (1881); and Ho­ly Tri­ni­ty, Mar­gate (1884).
