Biography

Lucy was the daugh­ter of Charles Ben­nett and Ann Smith

As of 1881, Lu­cy was liv­ing with her bro­ther in Hol­den­hurst, Ham­pshire, Eng­land.

After vi­sit­ing Kes­wick con­ven­tions, be­gin­ning in 1888, she met ma­ny not­able Chris­tians of the day. Among her cor­res­pond­ents were Chris­ti­na Ros­set­ti and Charles Spur­geon.

She helped found the All Na­tions Col­lege, Up­per Nor­wood, and Mount Her­mon Col­lege, Streat­ham Com­mon.
