Born: January 13, 1616, Lisle, France.
Died: October 30, 1680, Franeker, Netherlands.
Antoinette took an interest in religion from an early age, with a bent toward mysticism.
Undertaking the work of a reformer, she visited France, the Netherlands, England, and Scotland.
Her enthusiasm, peculiarity of views, and disregard of all sects raised on the one hand zealous persecutors, and on the other warm supporters.
Her writings were published in 19 volumes at Amsterdam in 1688.
