Biography

Cimarosa was an op­era com­pos­er of the Nea­po­li­tan school. He wrote more than eigh­ty op­eras, in­clud­ing his 1792 mas­ter­piece, Il Ma­tri­mo­nio Se­gre­to (The Se­cret Mar­riage). He al­so wrote nu­mer­ous in­stru­ment­al works.
