Biography

Cline was the hus­band of Imo­gene Cav­en­der.

In World War II, he was a chief pet­ty of­fi­cer in the Na­vy. While sta­tioned in Pa­na­ma, he taught a mu­sic school with the help of a Span­ish in­ter­pre­ter.

For 25 years, he owned the Cline Mu­sic Com­pa­ny in Charles­ton, West Virg­in­ia.
