Biography

Henrietta was the daught­er of Lieu­te­nant Co­lo­nel Hen­ry Bay­nes, Roy­al Ar­til­le­ry, and Hen­ri­et­ta Le Mar­chant, wife of de Lisle de Beau­voir Do­bree (mar­ried be­fore 1859, St. Pe­ter Port, Guern­sey), and sis­ter of hym­nist Fran­ces Brock.
