Biography

Ernest was the son of Will­iam Dug­more, Q. C.

Het was edu­cat­ed at Bruce Cas­tle School by pri­vate tu­tors, and at Wad­ham Col­lege, Oxford (BA 1867, MA 1869).

Ordained in 1867, he served as cur­ate at St. Pe­ter’s, Vaux­hall (1867–72); vi­car of Park­stone (1872); and ca­non of Sar­um and pre­ben­da­ry of Gil­ling­ham Ma­jor (1900).
