Biography

Mary was the daugh­ter of Jo­seph Ed­gar and Ma­ry Lit­tle.

She at­tend­ed Ha­ve­rgal Col­lege, the Uni­ver­si­ty of On­tar­io, and the Na­tion­al Train­ing School of the Young Wo­men’s Chris­tian As­so­cia­tion (YWCA) in New York Ci­ty.

From 1922–56, she ran a girls’ camp called Glen Ber­nard, on Lake Ber­nard, near Sund­ridge.
