Biography

A min­is­ter, Simp­son was the son of So­lo­mon Ely and Ra­chel Tur­ner, and hus­band of Eli­za­beth Mil­ler.

As of 1892, he head­ed Chris­tian Uni­ver­si­ty in Can­ton, Mis­so­uri.
