Biography

Frank was the son of John Da­vid Gram­mer and Ju­lia Ann Wal­ters. There is con­flict­ing da­ta on his mo­ther: His Find­agrave page gives his mo­ther as both Ju­lia Ann Wal­ters (born 1861, Ohio) and Jes­sie Verbal (1861–1948).

He mar­ried twice: to Vir­gie Reaves (1911, Dur­ant, Ok­la­ho­ma), and Blanch Ni­chol­son of Sher­man, Tex­as (1930).

Frank and Ver­gie were liv­ing in the ar­ea of Sher­man, Tex­as, in 1914. By 1918, they were in Bon­ham, Tex­as, and by 1941, Frank was in Bak­ers­field, Ca­li­for­nia.
