Horton was a min­is­ter. His song The Way, the Truth, the Life was pub­lished in Chi­ca­go, Il­li­nois, in 1926.

We sus­pect he is Tho­mas Cor­win Hor­ton (1848–1932), co-foun­der of the Bi­ble In­sti­tute of Los An­ge­les (BIOLA).
