Biography

Anton was the hus­band of Signe Kris­ten­sen Kehr­ein.

His mo­ther died when he was five years old, and his fa­ther when he was ten. Co­py­right re­cords show him liv­ing in Chi­ca­go, Il­li­nois, in 1909. In 1930, he was in Hart­ford Coun­ty, Con­nec­ti­cut.

He served as a mis­sion­ary in Af­ri­ca for at least 15 years, as­so­ci­at­ed with the Pres­by­ter­ian Gos­pel Mis­sion­ary So­cie­ty in Ken­ya. He was in Nai­ro­bi in 1932 when his daugh­ter Grace was born there.

By 1936, he was liv­ing in New Bri­tain, Con­nec­ti­cut.
