Born: January 8, 1832, Stuttgart, Germany.
Died: August 18, 1905, London, England.
Kübler studied theology in Tübingen.
The London Missionary Society sent him to Madras, India, 1855, but he returned to London for health reasons in 1858.
He became a pastor in the German Reformed church, and served as chaplain to the German community in Islington (1876–1901)
While in London, Kübler came to know Robert Pearsall Smith, a leader of the holiness movement, and, at an 1875 conference in Brighton, he met German Methodist preacher Ernst Gebhardt.
In addition to church work, Kübler promoted the German hospital in London.
