Biography

Loyer has a Ba­che­lor of Sci­ence in ma­the­ma­tics and Bi­ble from East­ern Men­non­ite Uni­ver­si­ty, Har­ri­son­burg, Vir­gi­nia, and a Ph.D. in sta­tis­tics from Mon­ta­na State Uni­ver­si­ty (1981).

He is the au­thor of nu­mer­ous book­lets and ar­ti­cles on hym­no­lo­gy and church his­to­ry, and has served as Ar­chiv­ist of the Cen­tral Penn­syl­van­ia Con­fer­ence of the Unit­ed Me­thod­ist Church.
