Biography

Millard was edu­cat­ed at Mag­da­len Col­lege School, then at Mag­da­len Col­lege, Oxford (BA in hon­ors 1845, MA 1848, DD 1859).

After tak­ing Ho­ly Or­ders, he served as cur­ate of Brad­field, Berk­shire, Eng­land, 1846; Head Mas­ter of Mag­da­len Col­lege School, 1846; Fel­low of his Col­lege, 1853; and vic­ar of Bas­ing­stoke, Ham­pshire (1864 to at least 1881).

He con­trib­ut­ed a few hymns to the De­vout Cho­ris­ter, by T. F. Smith, and al­so pub­lished:
