Born: De­cem­ber 11, 1792, Salz­burg, Aus­tria.

Died: De­cem­ber 5, 1848, Wa­grain, Aus­tria.

Buried: Wag­rain church yard, Aus­tria. His skull is said to have been re­moved to make a like­ness of him, then bur­ied un­der the al­tar in the church.

Biography

Mohr was or­dained Au­gust 21, 1815, by the Ro­man Ca­tho­lic Bish­op of Salz­burg.

He was then suc­ces­sive­ly ass­ist­ant at Ramau and Laufen; then co­ad­ju­tor at Kuchl, Goll­ing, Vi­gaum, Ad­net, and Au­ther­ing; then vi­car-sub­sti­tute at Hof and Hin­ter­see—all in the dio­cese of Salz­burg.

In 1828, he was ap­point­ed vi­car at Hin­ter­see, and in 1837 at Wa­grain, near St. Jo­hann.
