Biography

In 1904, Mun­sey bought the By­ron Re­pub­li­can, an Ok­la­ho­ma news­pa­per.

Copyright re­cords in­di­cate he was liv­ing in Gea­ry, Ok­la­ho­ma, as of 1907. By 1908, he was be­ing re­ferred to as Rev­er­end, Mun­sey, when he of­fi­ci­ate­d at a fu­ner­al in Mos­cow Flats, Ok­la­ho­ma.

By 1915, he was ed­it­or and pub­lish­er of the La Kemp Mir­ror in La Kemp, Ok­la­ho­ma. Note: In 1919, Tex­as-Ok­la­ho­ma state bor­der was re­drawn,and the town of La Kemp was re­named Book­er, Tex­as.
