Biography

Ann was the daugh­ter of Ol­iv­er H. Seb­ring and Ma­til­da Jane Hulme, and wife of Will­iam L. Mur­phy, who ran an Ohio pot­te­ry bu­si­ness.

Around 1929, aft­er be­ing wi­dowed and los­ing her wealth, she moved to Bur­bank, Ca­li­for­nia to live with her sis­ter.
