Minutes of the An­nu­al Con­fer­enc­es of the Me­tho­dist Epis­co­pal Church for the Years 1773-1881 show H. Geerd­es Odin­ga as a rep­re­sent­ative from Pir­ma­sens, Ge­rma­ny (1878) and Bre­men, Ger­ma­ny (1879).

His tune Leeu­war­den was pub­lished in Chi­ca­go, Il­li­nois, in 1899.
