Biography

Katharine was the daugh­ter Charles Nash, a Me­tho­dist min­is­ter in Penn­syl­van­ia’s Wy­om­ing Con­fer­ence.

She gra­du­at­ed from Will­iams­port Dick­in­son Se­mi­na­ry in 1860.

After mar­riage, she lived in Will­iams­port, where she was a mem­ber of the Mul­ber­ry Street Me­tho­dist Epis­co­pal Church.

She taught in­stru­ment­al and vo­cal mu­sic at the se­mi­na­ry there (1884–88), but was an in­va­lid the last sev­er­al years of her life.
