Biography

Ravenscroft be­came a cho­ris­ter at Chi­ches­ter Ca­thed­ral, En­gland, in 1594. He al­so served at St. Paul’s Ca­thed­ral as a cho­ris­ter, and wrote mu­sic for ac­tors there. From 1618–22, he was mu­sic mas­ter for Christ’s Hos­pital.
