Biography

Rodholm was the hus­band of Ma­rie Kjøl­hede (mar­ried No­vem­ber 17, 1901). They were both stu­dents at Grand View Col­lege in Des Moines (now Grand View Uni­ver­si­ty), and met in La­tin class in 1898.

Rodholm lat­er served as pre­si­dent of the Dan­ish Ev­an­ge­li­cal Lu­ther­an Church in Am­eri­ca (1922–26), pre­si­dent of Grand View Col­lege (1926–32), and pro­fess­or and dean of the Am­eri­can Ev­an­ge­li­cal Lu­ther­an Church Se­mi­na­ry.
