J. B. Stansberry

Biography

In 1887, Stans­ber­ry was pa­stor of the Mt. Pis­gah Church in Phi­la­del­phia, Penn­syl­van­ia.

By 1907, he was an Af­ri­can Me­tho­dist Epis­co­pal (AME) pre­sid­ing el­der in Phi­la­del­phia.

By 1916, he was pas­tor of the Bridge Street AME Church in Brook­lyn, New York.

He held a Doc­tor of Di­vi­ni­ty de­gree.

We sus­pect he may be John B. Stans­ber­ry (1844–1918), who is bur­ied in Ba­la Cyn­wyd, Penn­syl­van­ia.
