Biography

Frederick was the son of Henry E. Stanton and Charity C. Skiff, and husband of Mary Althea Harding (married 1880).

He held a Bachelor of Music degree, and was ordained to the Advent Christian ministry.

He held pastorates at Hudson Falls, New York and Lawrence, Massachusetts, and served as secretary of his denomination’s Southern Massachusetts District Conference.

Ill health and a final paralysis limited activity in his later years, though he supplied in various churches around New Bedford.
