Biography

Chris is the son of Con­nie and Don­na Tom­lin, and hus­band of Laur­en Brick­en (mar­ried 2010).

He was award­ed Male Vo­cal­ist of the Year at the 2006, 2007 (along with Ar­tist of the Year), and the 2008 Go­spel Mu­sic As­so­cia­tion’s Dove Awards, and a Gram­my Award for Best Con­tem­po­ra­ry Chris­tian Mu­sic Al­bum in 2012. He is one of the mem­bers of the cha­ri­ty Com­pas­sion Art.

Tomlin is a form­er staff mem­ber at the Aus­tin Stone Com­mu­ni­ty Church, and (as of 2013) a wor­ship lead­er at Pas­sion Ci­ty Church in At­lan­ta, Geor­gia.
