Biography

Charles was the son of Charles Pub­li­us Vaw­ter and Su­san Deg­man. He mar­ried twice, to Ca­ro­lyn Del­la Mor­ris­on (1903) and Clark­ie Reaves Har­grove.

He was one of the found­ing mem­bers of the Na­tion­al Ev­an­gel­is­tic As­so­ci­ation in 1904.
